Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite ways to spend time in Magic Kingdom Park! This is a specially ticketed event that runs weekly throughout the Halloween Season, usually starting in late August and ending on Halloween. Let’s dive into a bunch of the photo opportunities at this event!

When you walk into the Magic Kingdom at the start of the event, you can see new Halloween themed statues of some of the classic Disney characters. This is a great place to take a selfie with Jester Goofy or Princess Minnie!

After walking around a bit and taking pictures at the PhotoPass Photography spots, I soon found Anastasia and Drizella, the stepsisters from Cinderella. These two were fun to talk to and a perfect character meeting to start off the event.

All Main Street, the front entrance to the park, is decorated for Halloween! The shop storefronts have special displays, the buildings are lined with seasonal banners, and the streetlamps are decked out with pumpkins, too. As the evening gets darker, the pumpkins lining the Main Street buildings started glowing giving a spoooooky feel to the night.

One of the things I recommend most to anyone going to the party is getting memory maker, either for the day or the whole trip. There are special photos you can only get during the party that you do not want to miss out on! The Halloween map handed out at the beginning of the party should have all these locations mapped out.

Finally, when the evening ends, you won’t want to miss photos at the park’s front entrance. Later in the evening, there is special lighting and fog on the train station.
