All Agents in Training begin their career with Wishes Family Travel selling Disney Destinations only while we build trust and confidence in each other! NOTE: Currently we are looking for Full-Time agents that can do their training during normal business hours (8am-4pm).
We are NOT currently hiring in the following states: Florida, Hawaii, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, and Washington.
We are currently looking for people who will be successful concierge travel planners, with the ability to merge into our team. This requires a high level of commitment, time and effort to become a successful professional travel planner. This is NOT a “hobby agency”.
Agents in Training (with no Travel Agent Experience) – There is NOT a fee associated with joining our Agent in Training program. Our application is quite thorough, as the selection process and training of new agents is very expensive and time consuming for the Wishes management team.
AIT’s receive the following:
- Professional Email Account
- Access to Online Assets
- Extensive Initial Training & On-Going Training
- Individualized Assistance & Support
The TRAINING is designed to be self-paced with periodic scheduled review classes. Once accepted, you will get access to a training syllabus and the Disney Travel Agent site where you will be required to complete the College of Disney Knowledge within 30 days.
QUALIFICATIONS: There are very particular qualities that we are looking for in our Agents in Training.
- Personal Experience with Magic Bands AND a min of 3 different Disney Destinations Recently: WDW, DLR, DCL, ABD & Aulani
- College Degree
- Proven attention to detail
- Bubbly, happy & friendly personality
- High moral character
- Strong work ethic
- Long Term Commitment & Loyalty
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written – timely!
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience in Customer Service
- Experience in sales
- Experience with Disney & other travel
- Disney Enthusiast, bordering on obsession

Many people make the mistake of thinking that their love of Disney will mean that they can become a concierge travel consultant. Competition is steep, and we truly wish and hope that you have exactly what we are looking for in our Agents in Training!
Please ask lots of questions and be honest during this process. Finding the right fit between Agency and Agent is vital to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship. Delve deep into the level of customer care services we provide, processes in place, back office, requirements, expectations and recommendations. Please do not apply if you do not have LOTS of Disney travel experience.
We host periodic online webinars for potential recruits to hear from the Executive Team and other Agents. This is a great opportunity to ask questions before you apply. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time.
Personal sales goals will be set on individual basis. It is expected that all agents will sell a minimum of $50,000 a year beginning their 2nd year. This Agency follows the professional guidelines set forth by IATA. It is our goal that each Agent earn their personal IATA card.
Commission rates run between 50% – 70%. Agents must continue to meet minimum sales goals to be eligible for commission percentage increases on total sales. The agency owner reserves the right to increase or decrease (not lower than 50%) sales commission percentages based upon the level of service provided to the agent by the home office and consistency of meeting sales goals, and the marketing activity the agent has performed. Commission are paid via check after the guest has traveled.
