Fine Dining at Disneyland’s Steakhouse 55

Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel is a must for your next Disneyland vacation! This fine dining experience will surround you with elegance and offer tantalizing dishes and excellent service.
Upon entering Steakhouse 55, you will notice many large photos of Walt Disney, Hollywood bigwigs and classic actors. The décor has a modern feel in black and white with rich, purple velvet chairs and dark wood accents.
Our meal began with a beautiful loaf of sour dough bread and whipped butter. We chose the Maryland Crab Cake and Maine Lobster Bisque for our appetizers. We loved both dishes, but the crab cake melted in my mouth with such an array of flavors, combined with the blood oranges, that it was hard to share!
We were then served a most unique palate cleanser. This chilled butternut squash soup was served with a maple cream and pumpkin oil. It was quite refreshing and something I had never had before.
For the main course, we ordered the 8-ounce center cut Filet Mignon with a bone marrow side topped with a parmesan crust. The meat was perfectly tender, very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The marrow was pleasing and so savory. We coupled the beef with a seasonal risotto that was simply delicious!
I cannot rave about our Steakhouse 55 experience enough. Every aspect was top notch! The décor was intriguing and kept us wanting to see more, so we gladly accepted our server’s invitation to explore the entire restaurant. Our server was attentive from the moment we arrived. She offered suggestions and descriptions of the dishes to get us excited about our experience. And the food… the food was simply amazing!
