🎢 EPIC Foodie Adventure: From Garlic Pretzels to Boba-Topped Smoothies! 🍽️✨

Not only was the park epic (pun 100% intended), but the food? OH. MY. TASTE BUDS. 🚀 OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD.
This trip was all about one mission: EAT everything at Epic so I could bring you the ultimate snack-by-snack guide. Let’s just say… I understood the assignment 😎
🔥 Dark Universe: A Bite into the Shadows
First stop: Burning Blade Tavern, located in the spooky-cool Dark Universe. This place might look haunted, but the food? Straight-up heavenly.
Hunter’s Garlic Stake: Imagine a crispy, cheesy garlic pretzel with a velvety garlic dipping sauce that will make your heart skip a beat. 🧄🧀
Burning Cheddar Bites: Golden, crispy little poppers of cheesy joy. These are so delicious!
Burning Cheddar Bites
Warm Hearted Cinnamon Bites
🧙♂️ Pro Tip: This tavern is tiny (cozy = limited seating). Order drinks inside the bar, send a friend to scout a table, and pick up your food around the outside. Teamwork = food faster.
🔔 Fun Fact: Wanna see the tavern come to life? Wait for the bell tower to ring or the lights to flicker — spooky magic is coming.
💔 Skip Alert: I tried the Warm Hearted Cinnamon Bites from De Lacey’s Cottage… and unfortunately, they were more “heartbreaking” than heartwarming. Too dry and just not my jam.
🐉 Isle of Berk – How to Train Your Dragon Land
This land is STUNNING. Think Viking vibes with a side of cheesy goodness.
I grabbed a bite from Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel (great name, right?!). Here’s what I munched on:
Mac & Cheese Cone (with Goldfish on top!): Soft, fresh bread shaped into a cone, stuffed with creamy mac. Loved the flavor, but I needed like… 50% more mac. Still worth every bite.
🌞 Heads-up: The line was loooong and under the sun. Pro tip: One of us waited at Mead Hall to order more food and find shade while the other braved the cone line.
Berserker’s Meatballs: Swedish meatballs with smashed root veggies. As someone with Swedish roots, I had high hopes… but sadly, these were a nope. Wouldn’t order again.
🍄 Super Nintendo World – A Level-Up in Food
OKAY. PAUSE. Because this entire land? My FAVORITE. 💚
At Toadstool Café, the food was as adorable as it was delicious.
Toadstool Cheesy Garlic Knots = drool-worthy perfection.
Kids Cheeseburger Meal: Super balanced, cute AF. Comes with fries, corn on the cob, broccoli (yep), and a tiny treasure box with a chocolate-covered blonde Oreo. Wholesome and fun!
💚 Yoshi’s Smoothie: A dreamy green combo of Granny Smith apple + honeydew + milk + whipped cream + green apple boba. Refreshing and just sweet enough.
🍌 In Donkey Kong Country, I found my drink soulmate at Bubbly Barrel:
DK Crush Float: Banana-pineapple soft serve, pineapple soda, waffle bowl, toffee bits, and caramel popcorn. I’m not even a float person… but I’d fight a Kremling for this.
✨ Ministry of Magic World – A Wizard’s Feast
Wanded over to Café De La Sirene for some magical munchies and then popped into Bar Moonshine for that famous ✨Occamy Tea✨
Beau Thé Bleu d’Occamy: Add cotton candy, watch it sparkle and color-shift like potions class. The bartender? Hilarious.
Now, the eats:
Baguette De Dinde: Black pepper turkey, apples, brie, arugula, mustard butter AND apple butter on a warm baguette. A bit sweet, but those fries helped tone it down.
Boeuf Bourguignon: Thought it’d be a rich, comforting stew moment. But alas… meh. Pass.
Crème Brûlée: Classic. No surprises. Solid choice.
Bierauberre Crêpe: This was my sleeper hit. Buttery, creamy, dreamy. I didn’t expect to love it, but I was basically licking the plate.

🌌 Celestial Park – Dinner with a View
One of the only sit-downs in Epic? Atlantic. And wow — stunning at dusk. ✨
Grilled Atlantic Salmon: Flaky, flavorful, and paired with fingerling potatoes, corn succotash, and tomato chili butter. Loved every bite. Highly recommend grabbing a reservation before sunset!
Not far away, we had dinner at Bar Helios — beautiful spot, but the food didn’t live up to the vibe.
Tiny portions.
Meh flavor.
Big price tag.
Basically: Go for the ambiance, not the eats.
🌟 Final Score?
Epic Universe nailed the theming and fun, and while a few bites missed the mark, most were winners I’d happily eat again. If you’re headed that way — go hungry, stay hydrated, and prepare your tastebuds for an adventure!
