Animal Kingdom’s Kilimanjaro Safari – Jambo!

Your safari will take place in a real safari truck driven by a highly trained safari leader and will last approximately 18 to 22 minutes. Depending on the time of year, time of day, and lots of other factors, each safari experience is different.Make sure to keep your eyes open for hidden Mickeys along the Safari. I will give you a hint, the flamingos live on a very special shaped island!One of the highlights of the safari has to be the lions! Did you know you can hear a lion’s roar up to 5 miles away? The lion and lionesses tend to be present on the large rock that are heated and cooled depending on the weather to keep them comfortable! Maybe you will get to hear the lion roar on your safari (I recommend going at dusk for this truly unique experience) you will never forget it!!Make sure to look all around as you journey through the different areas of the safari, from the Ituri Forest to the Serengeti Savannah to the Safi River Valley there is so much to see! The entire Magic Kingdom could fit inside the 110-acre safari!Your driver will do their best to point out as many different animals and aspects of nature as possible, you may even get held up by a giraffe or ostrich crossing the road!
