Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast
Kenni Rich3.10.20The Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno, located at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort in Walt Disney World, is one of my family’s favorite character dining experiences. This breakfast gives you the opportunity to meet two of Disney’s most-loved couples, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from “Tangled” and Ariel and Prince Eric from “The Little Mermaid.” Get your cameras ready, because this dining experience will be unforgettable!
The AtmosphereThis character dining experience feels more grand than others with its textures and warm wood tones. The Italian theming that is carried out, and the large dining room and open kitchen brings a different feel. Upon entering the restaurant, you will have time to do a little shopping, so no worries if your little prince or princess forgot something back at the castle. Another wonderful reason to book this experience is the location! Disney’s Boardwalk Resort has an array of perfect areas for photo opportunities and is a rarely busy area.
The FoodAt the start of the breakfast you will be served a variety of delicious pastries served in one of Rapunzel’s frying pans. Many character dining experiences are buffets, but this one is different - this breakfast has a pre fixe menu. There are 9 different sweet, savory, and appetizing options. The popular choices at my table were King Triton’s Shipwreck al Forno and Ursula’s Cauldron. My little Mousketeers loved Flounder’s Flapjacks and the Character Waffle. What I appreciate about this menu is that you will not find anything that is greasy or cheap. Everything is flavorful and high quality!
The CharactersEach character is announced individually when they enter the room, which makes for an exciting energy! Guests will have the opportunity to meet each character, so make sure you have your autograph book handy. What I love about this unique experience is the opportunity to meet Flynn Rider and Prince Eric along with their princesses. The character interactions are exceptional! Rapunzel and Flynn Rider asked us if we had seen Pascal, Prince Eric asked my son if he was available to set sail on his ship, and Ariel talked about seashells with my daughter. After a few minutes your little ones will have the opportunity to join the whole gang for a napkin parade around the restaurant.
Travel Agent Tip: Make sure you ask Flynn Rider what is inside his satchel.Overall, this character dining experience is a terrific option to add to your next vacation.
