June 18, 2015By Missy RyanAdmit it. When you walk into the Magic Kingdom and start your journey down Main Street, your heart skips a beat. There in front of you, stands 189 feet of beauty, also known as Cinderella’s Castle. Whether it is dripping with sparkling lights, glowing in the reflection of Disney’s Wishes fireworks night show or decked out to resemble a cake, you are sure to be starstruck, if that could even be possible!Inside those walls sits one of the most popular restaurants at Walt Disney World...Cinderella’s Royal Table. Upon checking in you are led into a lobby that is peppered with royal décor such as statues of knights and walls built with stone. You are even greeted by Cinderella herself while you wait for your royal table to be prepared. The anticipation is almost unbearable. You have turned back the hands of time and feel like a child again. In that moment, as you look into the eyes of your own children and feel their excitement soar, you live vicariously through them. Undoubtedly, why wouldn’t you? You are in Cinderella’s Castle! As your name is called, you are addressed as “my lady” or “my lord.” You are then escorted up a spiral shaped staircase by a host/hostess decked out in Renaissance-inspired garb. Upon entering the Grand Hall, you are seated and the anticipation continues. Cathedral ceilings, stained glass, towering windows and a staff waiting eagerly to make your experience a dream come true.During your meal you may be visited by Aurora, Belle, Snow White, or the Fairy Godmother. Autographs and pictures are invited. Your little Princess will receive a wand during her experience and your little Prince will receive a sword. The meals at Cinderella’s Royal table are served family style. For breakfast you will have choices such as crab and lobster crepes and stuffed French toast. Lunch starts with a Chef’s tasting plate and then moves on to chicken or fish of the day. Your meal ends with a delicious treat called “The Clock Strikes Twelve.” For dinner you are treated to beef tenderloin or slow roasted pork. And to top it all off, the Chef’s dessert trio is the perfect ending! From the minute you step foot into the castle, and throughout the entire magical meal, Cinderella’s Castle is not just a restaurant, it is an experience! To contact this blogger, Missy Ryan Email
