Club Level at Disney's Polynesian Resort
Megan Kline4/26/19Staying Club Level on Disney property is truly a wonderful way to vacation! You will love the added perks club level offers. I had the pleasure of enjoying club level at Disney’s Polynesian Resort this fall. The club level rooms are located in the Hawaii building, a short walk from the main building and the pool area. In order to have access to the building you must scan your magic band for entry. You are greeted by the concierge desk located in the King Kamehameha Club. The Club Level Lounge is located on the second floor. The lounge is only open certain hours throughout the day, all food and drink is included in your stay. The King Kamehameha Club has four servings according to the following schedule:
- 7:00AM to 10:30AM - Kakahiaka (Continental Breakfast)
- 12:00PM to 4:00PM - Auinala (Refreshments)
- 5:00PM to 7:00PM - Ahiahi (Appetizers)
- 8:00PM to 10:00PM - Aumoe (Cordials & Desserts)
The lounge features a continental breakfast featuring coffee, tea, and juices. They have fresh fruit, yogurts, and a large selection of cereals available. This is great way to fill up on a healthy meal before starting your day at the parks. The afternoon service features a build your own lettuce bar station which was my favorite! The combination of the lettuce with the shrimp, and the sweet chili sauce was perfection. The plantain chips and fresh salsas were perfect for snacking. There was a wide selection of fresh veggies, dried fruits, and nuts which are great for fueling your body after a long morning in the parks. The evening appetizer selection was very satisfying as well. Small bites perfect for the adventurous eater. Some of the selections offered were Tuna Tataki, select cheeses, pita and hummus, pineapple rolls, and much more. They even have Smucker’s Uncrustables peanut butter and jelly sandwiches cut up for the little ones. They offer a few different wine and booze options during each section of the day. The Ku “u” lei Punch was my favorite and perfect for a refreshing drink after a long hot day. I enjoyed a glass while overlooking the beautiful view the lounge features. You are able to see the Seven Seas lagoon, the beach, the water bungalows, and the Magic Kingdom. The dessert portion features rice Krispy treats, a mickey shaped tart, strawberry short cake, and several other cakes and cookies. There is a cooler stocked with pop and beer that changes daily.I was staying with my dear friends who just happen to be fellow travel agents and we enjoyed taking some treats and our glass of punch back to our room to get ready for the fireworks. How were we able to see fireworks from our room you ask? Well we were staying in a theme park view which showcased a great view of the Magic Kingdom. We were able to sit on our balcony and enjoy the fireworks in the comfort of our own room. The perfect end to our perfect day.I would love to tell you more about this amazing resort!
