Dining With Snow White & The Evil Queen

Kenni Rich10.25.19In June my family and I experienced Walt Disney World’s newest character dining experience. Story Book Dining at Artist Point located at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort in Walt Disney World. Here you will dine with the Evil Queen, Grumpy, Dopey and the fairest of them all, Snow White. Upon entering you will notice the immersive theming. Large trees stretch across the ceiling making you feel as if you have stepped into an enchanted forest, the warm tones and natural elements are carried throughout and the Evil Queen greets you at the entrance of the dining room.Processed with VSCO with c1 preset The meal is divided into three courses. Appetizers and dessert are served family style, presented on a three tiered lazy susan leaf tray and for the main course you have a wide array of options. The gnocchi, prime rib and cottage beef stew were the popular choices at our table. For adults who are looking for ‘Wickedly Refreshing Cocktails’ you can choose from, beer, wine and non-alcoholic specialty drinks. For young Mouseketeers they will enjoy a veggie and cheese plate, served inside a small flower pot with “dirt” and “make your own butter.” Children order their own entrees off of Grumpy’s Grub menu. Royal Prime Rib, Prince and Princess Pasta and Chicken Tenders are a couple of options that are available.f-26-14-13341292_3HKMMIQ8_KR_KID_MENU With this being a character dining experience, we had fantastic interactions with all of the characters! Each one spending quality time with us. The Evil Queen stands waiting for you go to her for photos, while desiring to remain the "fairest in the land,” Snow White, Dopey, and Grumpy make the rounds throughout the room, each being featured with their own grand entrance. While you dine, you will be treated to a small show featuring the characters where you are encouraged to sing and dance to Whistle While You Work.Processed with VSCO with c1 preset Overall, my family enjoyed this experience! The food was delicious, the characters were engaging and the theming, as usual, was top notch. What I loved the most about this dining experience, is that I didn’t feel like I was sacrificing our dining credits for a less than spectacular character meal. Whether you are a Snow White fan or not, Story Book Dining should be a must for your next Walt Disney World vacation.Processed with VSCO with c1 preset I would love to help you plan your next Disney vacation!
