Have you ever thought about taking a Disney Cruise without the kids? There is plenty to do on a Disney Cruise for adults ONLY. If you enjoy a more playful and fun atmosphere, then a Disney Cruise could be perfect for you.

Each Disney Cruise ship offers an array of reserved activities for guest 18 and older. The elegant decorations instantly make you forget that you are on a ship geared toward families. There are amazing Broadway-style shows and adult only games and performances.

Do you enjoy learning new skills? There are cooking classes, wine tasting, and mixology lessons. There are tons of spaces that are only for adults on board. The fitness center and spa are great places to enjoy quiet time away from kids.  There is the Quiet Cove Pool located near The Cove Café. If you would like to read and relax you can do so on the chairs in the adults on area.

Disney Cruise Line uses rotational dining on their ships. Guests rotate through all the restaurants on the ship while keeping the same staff each night. Many families pick main dining, so second dining tends to be quiet. There are also options for adults only restaurants, such as Palo and Remy, which can be reserved for an extra fee.

Disney Cruise line ensures that there are child free spaces throughout the cruise. Once the ship docks at the private island, Castaway Cay, there is a private adult only beach called Serenity Bay.

Disney Cruise Line has spacious staterooms. Many rooms have 2 half bathrooms, making it easier for more than one person to get ready at the same time.

The bottom line is that there will be kids on your Disney Cruise. However, there are enough adult only spaces so you don’t feel like you are surrounded by them.  If you are interested in booking a Disney Cruise with or without children email me at lee@wishesfamilytravel.com
