Disney Jr. at Hollywood Studios
Susie SwansonMarch 15, 2016From the moment my three children laid eyes on TV they ALL loved watching Disney Jr. It did not matter what the show was, Handy Manny, Sofia, Doc McStuffins, Jake, they loved them all. All the shows have wonderful episodes while teaching small children some sort of life lesson through an animated cartoon. My children wanted to see all these characters when we told them we were going to Disney. I love the way Hollywood Studios highlights these special people for the Disney Jr. crowd. The show is fun and light hearted and is perfect for the younger children. Guests sit on the floor and are very close to the stage making it “bigger than life” to the little guys and gals. The singing and the dancing of all their favorite songs and dances makes the children comfortable and engaged. Not only do they have a special interactive Disney Jr. show but they offer a wonderful dining experience as well. Hollywood & Vine is buffet style American food, and make sure you save room for dessert as they offer a yummy sundae bar! The experience that the characters provide for the children during their dining experience is priceless! In my opinion, the character meal at Hollywood and Vine offers some of the greatest trained characters in all of Disney. Sofia danced with my daughters and spent so much time with them. Jake and Handy Manny both made sure my son (9 years old) was having a great time at lunch. The dining room had a parade and a dance that the children could come and participate in. The characters were not the only wonderful aspect of our experience but the staff was just as amazing. Although this restaurant is a buffet style, and the servers went above and beyond to assure we had everything that we needed and interacted with all of the children and other family members I was with. My kids adored taking photos with Sofia, Doc, and Jake and will cherish these moments for a long time to come. They now love to look back at these photos and videos that we took and remember what a magical experience Disney gave them. To this day when my three year old turns on Disney Jr. she screams, “I saw them, Mommy….they hugged me!” Every time I hear that little voice say that I want to go back to this magical place! Hollywood and Vine does accept the Disney dining plan (one sit down meal credit) and is reasonably priced for the meal you get. I highly recommend both the Disney Jr. show and dining experience for your next visit to Hollywood Studios. Click here for more information on Hollywood and Vine.
