Disney’s Memory Maker - Is It Worth The Money?

mm1Anna TrosperApril 14, 2016It seems I get asked this question with almost every Walt Disney World Resort booking: "Is Memory Maker really worth getting?” The answer I give is “It all depends.” Just like the dining plans and what resort you stay in, it all depends on your family’s needs and how you do Disney! Your travel agent can help you decide if it is right for your family. What do I mean by 'do Disney'?Well, for some families it’s all about hitting the park early and just riding all the rides. No meeting the characters, no character dining, just go, go, go! Then some families take their time and ride the rides but also do a lot of meet and greets and dining with the characters. You can go to Disney for a 10-day vacation or visit for only 2 days. So, like I said, it all depends! My family - my husband, me and our son and all my nieces and nephews – has visited Walt Disney World more than 30 times in the last 15 years. Sometimes we go for 10 days at a time; others we go for a quick weekend trip. We get Memory Maker for the longer trips or when it is someone's first time going to Walt Disney World. I want to capture it all and I do not want to be looking through a camera the whole trip. However, Memory Maker is most definitely not for every family visiting Disney World.
I have attached some of my favorite Memory Maker photos from some of our trips. Hope you like them!If you have any more questions or would like help planning your magical vacation I would be happy to help you.
