Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

By: Rebecca JonesThe Epcot International Food and Wine Festival brings together over 30 different cultures, celebrity chefs, delightful wine, scrumptious food tastings from around the world, and educational seminars on a variety of topics.  The event runs each year in Epcot from late September to mid-November.

The festival is a celebration for foodies with varying palettes, offering hearty choices like the venison sausage with pickled mushrooms, baby arugula and a black currant reduction from New Zealand.  Yet, the desserts take center stage with offerings like chocolate orange cupcakes, hazelnut chocolate cheesecake and morello cherry pistachio mouse at the Desserts and Champagne booth. But the festival offers much more than the dozens of food booths that line the World Showcase.  There are cooking classes and forums, taught by leading experts, to learn how to make the most of your culinary skills when you return home.  The Eat to the Beat Concert Series features performances from throwback stars like STARSHIP, Air Supply and Boys II Men, in an open-air venue at the America Gardens Theatre, all included in your park admission.
If you travel to Walt Disney World in the fall, the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is a popular event that shouldn’t be missed. If you have questions, please contact your Wishes Family Travel agent, or Rebecca Jones, Concierge Agent, at Rebecca@WishesFamilyTravel.com.
