Lisa Perna5.31.20Epcot always has the best festivals throughout the year. Did you know that you can taste global cuisines at over 40 destinations during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival? You have food booths from all over the world and you can experience a variety of cuisines. An adventurous foodie will have a great time tasting food from different countries! Chocolate lovers definitely will enjoy the Chocolate Experience booth! The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is a place where you can experience a food adventure. From sweets at The Donut Box, or heathier options at Earth Eats or Active Eats there is something everyone will enjoy. This year’s Food & Wine Festival did not disappoint. A few of my favorite dishes from last year’s festival returned and it was fun to retry them. The plates at the festival are all small bites, so it will take a few items to fill you up. We shared many of the dishes which lead to lots of taste testing experiences. Below are a few of the food adventures my family and I had while visiting Epcot this year.
Flavors from Fire is hosted by ESPN College Game day. This was one of my favorites stops this year! They had a Charred Chimichurri Skirt Steak on a Smoke Corn Cake with Pickled Vegetable Slaw and Cilantro Aioli. The aioli tasted amazing and the skirt steak was incredibly tender!Coastal Eats featured my husband’s favorite dish. He loved the Lump Crab Cake with Napa Cabbage Slaw and Avocado-Lemongrass Cream.
In Australia we enjoyed Roasted Lamb Chop with Sweet Potato Puree, Bush berry Pea Salad, and Pistachio-Pomegranate Gremolata. My daughter really enjoyed this dish since she loves lamb chops.Epcot provides a lot of incredible food dishes for each festival. If you love eating snacks around the world, use your snack credits from the dining plan in Epcot. No matter what you eat in Epcot, I’m sure you will enjoy your food adventure!This review is based on a recent trip to Epcot International Food & Wine Festival 2019.
