For the Boys: A Knightly Makeover vs. Swashbuckling Pirate

Not as well known are different options for the boys in your travel party as well!When at Magic Kingdom, young swashbucklers can enjoy a makeover at Pirate’s League. It’s a fun experience where children are taught the fine art of being a pirate. Parents, remind the gents to keep those “manners” inside Pirate’s league only! Lads will even leave with a new pirate-themed name written on a scroll. Other keepsakes include a sword and sash to hold said sword. There are several makeover options to choose from ranging from Jake to Jack Sparrow to even more elaborate makeovers. Pirate’s League is conveniently located right near the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Looking at the photo of my son, he opted to skip the beard.
For a more royal makeover (especially when mom and dad can’t be in two places at once and your sister desperately wants to become a princess), did you know young lads can take part in a knightly makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? There are two locations - inside the castle in Magic Kingdom (book early as reservations in this location go fast!) or at Disney Springs inside the World of Disney. A knightly royal hairstyle complete with Mickey sequins along with a pretty amazing sword and shield. As you can see in the photographs, my son has a lot of thick blond hair and Disney Fairy Godmothers in training were well equipped to tame his locks into a hairstyle fit for any prince.
