Introducing the Disney Park Pass Reservation System!

Sarah McClure6.22.20Here are a few important details to know about this new system:

  • Your family will need a My Disney Experience account, as this is where your Walt Disney World Resort plans are stored and managed.
  • You'll also need a valid theme park ticket or Annual Pass that’s linked to your My Disney Experience account.
  • If you have a Disney Resort hotel reservation, be sure to link it to this My Disney Experience account beforehand, as well.
  • The Park Pass reservation system is only available from the Walt Disney World website, not in your My Disney Experience smartphone app. Therefore, you must be in the browser on your phone or on a computer to make these reservations. I highly recommend being on a computer.

Once you've logged into your My Disney Experience account and linked your ticket, you'll have access to a calendar of available reservation dates for each theme park. If you have a multi-day ticket, you will be required to make a park reservation for each date of your visit. Families and friends can link their tickets together and look to arrange theme park entries at the same time. Please note, park reservations are limited in number and subject to availability. Availability can change until the reservation is finalized. At this time, guests will be able to select one park per day; visiting more than one park per day will be temporarily unavailable upon the reopening of the theme parks due to attendance limitations.**Information copied from Disney Travel Agents. The steps below MUST BE completed by you, I am not allowed to do them for you, per Disney's and my agency's guidelines.1) Verify that your log in email and password to your My Disney Experience account are valid.2) Verify that all guests are linked to your account. Under Family and Friends you can add new guests or link to other guests in another traveling party.3) Verify that all tickets are linked to your account by going to the Park Tickets tab.4) To reserve a Park Pass, you will need to decide which day you'd like to visit which park. I suggest looking at any published park hours for your upcoming vacation to help you determine this ahead of time.5) Under the My Disney Experience title on the website, you will see "Disney Park Pass System." Click on this to take you into the reservation system.Park Pass Step 1 6) Select your travel party. You can choose up to 12 guests, provided they are all on the same type of reservation - resort hotel vs. ticket only vs. Annual Passholder. If you have a child under 2 (without a park ticket) you will NOT select their name, as they do not need a park reservation.Park Pass Step 27) Select your date next. Availability will be noted in colors. Green indicates all parks are available. Yellow indicates some parks are not available. Grey indicates no parks are available. On yellow days, you will see below the calendar which parks are and are not available. Select which park you'd like to visit on that particular date.Park Pass Step 38) Select your arrival time based upon the parks' published open hours. It may be that you will not be allowed to arrive until later in the day, in order to have effective social distancing. You can leave and come back into the same park during the day, though.Park Pass Step 49) Review the details of your reservation, agree to the Terms and Conditions, and click Continue. This will take you back to your main My Plans page, and you start the process over for the next day you'd like to be in the parks.Park Pass Step 5 Park Pass Step 6
