Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment

Walt Disney World is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary, and with that is a new fireworks display called Disney Enchantment.  One of the best ways to view Enchantment is to attend a dessert party.

I recently attended the Treats and Seats party.  For this party you are seated on the lowest level of the Tommorowland Terrace with a perfect view of the display.  The party begins promptly at 7pm but people begin to line up as early as 6pm.  We arrived at 6pm to be first in line.  After checking in we waited for the party to begin.  Slightly before 7pm the cast members began giving out wrist bands in case you need to leave the party for any reason.  At 7pm we were led in.  We had our choice of tables and took the advice of our cast member on where to sit - a perfect table along the railing. I will say there are no bad seats, each one has an awesome view.

Once seated, a reserved sign is placed on your table so you are free to go up to the food area.  Along with the array of sweets, such as a tiramisu push up pop and chocolate covered strawberries, there was cheese and crackers and fruit.  There was an array of alcoholic beverages such as wines and beer. Other drinks included iced tea, lemonade and fruit juice.  Coffee and a selection of teas were also available.  We snacked slowly as we waited for the fireworks.  By 8pm we had tried all the treats and we were given a plate of small cupcakes because we were wearing anniversary buttons. We made up a plate to have while watching and our view was incredible, and to be able to sit comfortably for the show was wonderful.

After Enchantment we lingered snacking a bit more and having coffee.  We let the crowd clear a little on main street while we waited.  There was no rush to leave but after about 45 minutes they did start to clear the food away.  We were given some chocolates on our way out.  By this time Main Street was manageable to exit the park.

We thoroughly enjoyed the dessert party and felt it was worth the $114 per adult and $69 per child.  Reservations are a must.
