Morimoto Asia

Rebecca JonesFebruary 14, 2017On a recent trip to Walt Disney World, I arrived around noon, and was famished.  My friend and I headed straight to Disney Springs, where we knew we’d be able to find some fabulous food choices.  Our original plan was to head to one of the quick-service locations, but when walking by Morimoto Asia, we noticed they seemed to have open tables.  Peeking our heads into the glorious lobby, we were shocked to discover we could be seated right away!  What a treat it was to walk in to such a fantastic dining spot.Morimoto-ceilingThe space itself is truly awe-inspiring.  I couldn’t stop looking around – there is almost no where for your eye to rest.  From the chandeliers that are designed to look like you are underneath jellyfish in the ocean, to the oversized photos along one wall, to the open kitchen where you can witness the delectable creations being made, there is always something new to discover.
There were so many options on my plate! From pot stickers and wontons, to crab rolls and marinated zucchini, and of course, the main dish – orange chicken!  There was no way I was going to finish all of it, so I enjoyed a single bite of some options, but you can bet I ate every single scrap of that orange chicken.  It was delicious!  The breading wasn’t too thick, and the sauce was tangy and clung to the chicken so it didn’t drip as you brought the fork to your mouth.  When it was all gone, my taste buds wanted more, but my stomach was saying, “I can’t fit any more!”Overall, I highly recommend Morimoto Asia for your dining choice at Disney Springs.  This location is one table-service dining credit at lunch on the Disney Dining Plan, but at dinner, this location is two table-service dining credits. As part of my complimentary concierge services, I am happy to reserve this restaurant for one of your meals during your Disney World vacation.
