Paradise in the Bahamas

Tiffany Morse6/9/20Cool refreshing towels and warm island breezes greeted me when I exited the van and stepped out onto the Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort. This island paradise is located in Nassau, Bahamas and is breathtaking. Crystal blue-green waters, white, sandy beaches, large pools, open bars and luxury envelope you. Your every need is taken care of before you can even name it.This exotic-off shore island was once a favorite of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.   Experience 5-Star Gourmet Dining at ten unique locations. You also pamper yourself with a wide variety of treatments at the Red Lane Day Spa. They have everything from nail treatments to hot-stone massage to a Papaya-Pineapple Salt Mousse. They also have Padi Certified Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Plunge Pools, Hobie Cats, Kayaks, and Paddle Boards. You can also choose to spend your time doing nothing at all.f-26-13-13638875_Vl64uR2e_IMG_5469This particular day, I was there on a Day Pass with a few other co-workers. We got out of the van on this very humid day, wiped our faces and then were given tour of this magnificent resort. We saw a few of the British Bars, old-school pool tables, and by The Red Lane Spa. The main pool had a foam party going on and everyone was enjoying that and the swim-up brain the pool. Many of the Sandals Resorts also have an incredible over the water bar called Latitudes. It is an octagon shaped bar that also has hammocks directly out over the water. The drinks are wonderfully mixed and wether you like alcohol or prefer another type of beverage, the view is so incredibly worth it.f-26-15-13638875_M6wqxSEI_64876069_462219294605564_1744508225488683008_nThis resort also offers its own exotic island. You get on a boat and take a short fifteen to twenty minute ride, docking on this paradise. They have hammocks over the water, Schooner’s and incredible seafood grill, and a blue pool with a swim up bar. We went over there and ate at Schooner’s. The food was wonderful and the view was even better. On one side you had the blue pool and on two others ocean views with aqua-marine waves gently lapping on the white sandy beach.f-26-19-13638875_8A9laIMW_IMG_5477After lunch, we went in the pool and walked on the path. As we put our feet in the sand, it was like putting them in cool, white sugar.   It was so peaceful and inviting.   This entire day you could feel your stress melting away as you took in those views. I wish we could have stayed longer, but am so grateful for the time I had on this FAM Trip. If you would like help building your next trip to paradise, I would love to help you!
