Perfect spots to relax while at Universal Orlando Resort

Let’s face it, not all of us are thrill-seekers! Some of us are the official bag holders for the family at amusement parks. Universal Orlando Resort can seem intimidating due to all of their large roller coasters and thrill rides. But never fear! There are plenty of ways that you can wait on the thrill-seekers to finish up their ride while you relax.
Here are a few of my favorites spots to cool off and relax at Universal Orlando Resort:
- Outdoor Patio at Hogs Head
Grab a drink (try a Butterbeer) and relax at this outdoor covered seating area that offers great views of the VelociCoaster! Be aware that while it does offer you shade and views, it also means listening to lots of screams coming from the neighboring coaster.
- Side Street in Seuss Landing (along the waterfront)
This little side path near the water offers plenty of spots to sit, and the best part is that it is usually not crowded.
- Knockturn Alley
While this area can get crowded, the reason that I love it is because it is cool and dark. It’s a perfect spot for when you are visiting the parks during the warmer months of the year.
- Central Park
Enjoy the greenery, pick a bench, and recharge.
- Picnic Area by Animal Actors
Covered area with plenty of tables and chairs with overhead fans.
Whether you are a thrill seeker or non-thrill seeker, you will find plenty of things to do at Universal Orlando Resort!
