Have you ever booked a vacation to Walt Disney World and have been worried about missing that big sporting event? Well, not to worry! On our past trip we found the perfect spot to catch the “big game.” Now remember, you can always watch the games in your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room or lounge area, but it’s always fun to hang with other sports fans!

As huge Baltimore Ravens fans, we did not want to miss out on the Sunday game during our vacation. So after a morning at Epcot we decided to hop a bus and ride to Coronado Springs Resort to check out Rix Sports Bar and Grill. First of all, if you’ve never stayed here it’s a beautiful resort! If coming from the parks and using their bus transportation, be sure to hop off at “El Centro” bus stop. This is the main building for Coronado Springs and where you will find their dining and shopping. Coming from your hotel? Either take a bus to Disney Springs and then catch the Coronado Springs Resort bus or use Uber or Lyft.

Upon arriving at Rix Sports Bar and Grill, you will notice the 31 large TV Screens, plenty of tables, and also lounge furniture. TV’s are labeled by game so be sure to let the hostess know which game you would prefer to watch. Also realize that it can be quite noisy and busy depending on the day of the week and sporting events, and reservations are recommended. They offer plenty of beer choices including local beers, signature cocktails, and classic bar bites from burgers and spicy chicken sandwiches to nachos and wings.

So next time you are in Walt Disney World and want to take a little break or just don’t want to miss the big game! Check out Rix Sports Bar and Grill at Coronado Springs Resort.
