Splitsville Luxury Lanes

By: Christina Szewczuk8.2.18Among the many unique dining experiences at Walt Disney World is the trendy bowling alley-restaurant, Splitsville! It’s located in Disney Springs in the West Side area near the Super Hero Store and the Star Wars store (two of my favorites)! Splitsville does accept the Disney Dining plan (one table service credit per person). You book your dining and bowling separately, so if you just want to bowl or eat dinner you can do that. Your Wishes Family Travel Agent can book it for you however you’d like! f-26-20-12104857_bNKbEOxE_Splitsville-OutsidePic The style of the restaurant gives the feeling of a modern, elegant 50’s bowling alley. There is plenty of red neon inside and out, but it doesn’t feel overdone. You get a retro feel from it but contemporary touches such as cool star-like light fixtures as shown in the photo keep its modern style in tact. f-26-14-12104857_pnAWRxjY_diningareawlights When you walk in, the hostess stand is to the left, but they are waiting to greet you near the doors to check you in. You will eat separately from your bowling experience so you’ll have a dining time and a bowling time. There are clusters of bowling alleys interwoven through the dining areas and you can see people bowling throughout the restaurant. We were seated in the upper level by the window, which gave us a nice view of Disney Springs. When we were there, there was a private party at the bar upstairs and there was not much action on the lanes. lanes1 All of our meals were tasty, no complaints. The kids enjoyed pizza and chicken fingers – standard dietary staples for kids. I had a glass of wine with the delicious Buffalo Chicken Sandwich off the “Handhelds” section of the menu. It was a nicely sized chicken patty with buffalo sauce (not too spicy), ranch, lettuce and tomato situated on a toasty bun. My husband had a salad, which he deemed a “typical salad” paired with a beer. Overall the modern-retro design was nice and the upbeat atmosphere made for a nice meal shared together. For the “Luxury” denotation, we expected the bill to be higher, but it was a reasonably priced meal. I would recommend this place to anyone. It’s a good place for a couple to enjoy a date and equally good for a family meal such as ours.f-26-15-12104857_IysMWUJT_giftshopIf you have any questions or comments about this restaurant, please feel free to contact me at Christina@WishesFamilyTravel.com.
