I think we can all agree that these past couple of years have been tough and taken a toll on many people in many different ways. Change can be challenging and even disrupt the very things that usually relieve our stress. It’s time to hit reset, let loose, let out a few screams, get in some good laughs, and smile. What better place to do that than an epic destination like Universal Orlando Resort?

My daughter has Celiac Disease — along with 2 million others in the United States and about 1% of people around the world. People with Celiac must eat a strict gluten-free diet. Question is, how can I explore one of my favorite places in the world (Universal Orlando Resort, of course) with one of my favorite people in the world?

Going to a theme park with a group is a lot like going to the movies; it’s more enjoyable when you can share the experience — your favorite parts, your least favorite parts, and all the highlights there are to dish about.

There are a lot of memorable scenes from the Harry Potter films, but some of the most fascinating ones to me are when you get to see Gringotts bank and the vaults within. Not to mention being introduced to the bank’s protectors, the goblins, and the different levels of security one would expect from the safest place in the world. You truly get to see what it’s like to live in the wizarding world when something as every-day as banking has a layer of magic surrounding it.

Let’s face it, life as a parent often makes you feel like a pack mule — lugging around all of the stuff and supplies your family needs to get through the day. But, in all honesty, not packing a needed supply for a day at the theme parks can turn the experience upside down when you are trying to simply enjoy much-needed family time away from home.
