Top 5 Things to love about Lowes Royal Pacific Resort

On my last trip to Universal Orlando in Florida I stayed at the Lowes Royal Pacific resort for the first time. I am so glad I did; I fell in love with this resort, and I am going to give you the top 5 reasons why:

5.) Royal Pacific’s South Pacific theme
From the time I arrived and walked across the bridge to the main lobby I felt as if I was transformed ( to an island get-away. From the Polynesian inspired décor and sculptures to the amazing smell as you walk in. The theme is carried out throughout the resort, with bamboo and tropical flowers and stunning walkways. It is a great place to stay and get away from the busy parks and just relax. Paradise!

4.) Water Taxi
Ok, I put this at number four, but it is one of the biggest perks for staying at this premier resort. To get to City Walk, Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure you take the water taxi – a four-minute ride and you are there! The dock is just pasted the pool, and very easy to get to. There is a walking path to City Walk also, very nice and tropical – it is about a 15-minute walk to City Walk. Me, personally, after a day of walking in the parks I will take the water taxi over walking any day!

3.) Dining
Within this resort, there are three different venues to choose from: Orchid Court Lounge, Islands Dining Room, and Jake’s American Bar. Jake’s menu offers something for everyone. Nearby at Tuk Tuk Market, guests can find a variety of grab-and-go choices, as well as a quick-service counter. Starbucks coffee is also located in the lobby area. FYI: As all Starbucks, the line can get long! So, plan ahead if this is a must to start your day off!

2.) Rooms
The Royal Pacific rooms are beautifully decorated! I stayed in a standard room with two queen beds; the room was a great size and at no time did we feel cramped or over crowed. I hate coming back from a long day to a small, cramped room. The bathroom is set up so that one person can be in shower and other can be getting ready at sink with mirror. This resort even has Jurassic World-themed children’s suites. What kid would not love that? And the beds and linens are very nice.

1.) Value
Yes, it is true that Royal Pacific is not the least expensive of the Universal Orlando hotels. However, it is, on average, the lowest-priced of those you will find at the premier level – which means that you will still receive the deluxe benefits, such as complimentary Unlimited Express Passes. That right there is the best value for your buck! With the Express Pass we never waited in line more than 10 to 15 minutes for a ride, and most the time walked right on. I will never go to Universal Orlando again with out the Express Pass. This resort is truly the best value I believe on Universal Property!

So, Lowes Royal Pacific resort allows guests to be whisked between the excitement and thrills of the theme parks and the laid-back luxury of a tropical paradise. With in just a few minutes you’re either in
the parks or relaxing in this tropical paradise. Which, if you ask me, defines the term “vacation.” If you would like to know more about this resort or a Universal Orlando vacation, I would be happy to talk with you.
