The attention to detail in this water park makes you feel like you are on an island. In this article I will discuss Tapu Tapu.Tapu Tapu is a wearable, water proof wristband similar to a watch. It can hold your place in a virtual line, open your locker, and pay for all of your purchases. This is a hassle-free way to enjoy the water park. No more worrying about carrying a wallet, credit card, or cash to pay for your purchases. Tapu tapu does it all. You can link your credit card to the tapu tapu through the Universal app before you even arrive! Once you have linked your credit card you are able to purchase merchandise and food. I loved the fact that I did not have to go back to the locker to get cash or a credit card to purchase meals or snacks. Simply order and your cashier will direct you to tap the Tapu Tapu against the screen in a designated area.Tapu Tapu is also a virtual line holder. When you are ready to enjoy the next ride, go to that ride and tap the screen of your watch against the slide totem. When it’s your time to ride, the tapu tapu will notify you by doing a count down from 15 minutes to 5 minutes. Then the watch will gently shake to get your attention. It will have the name of the ride and the words “ride now”.Tapu Tapu does not easily come off while riding the water slides. It stays on securely. What are the benefits to this system? Instead of waiting in line, you can relax by the water, ride a different ride, have a meal, or shop. You now have more time to explore the park and experience everything.
