A Sensational Supper at Sebastian’s Bistro

Tiffany Morse2/1/19f-26-14-12650778_Ioi6Ej59_IMG_2980 Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has been undergoing lots of refurbishments, and recently I had the chance to experience a sensational supper at Sebastian’s Bistro, Caribbean Beach’s newest table service restaurant. Sebastian’s is located at the Old Port Royale Bus stop. Entering the lobby at Caribbean Beach you are transported to the calm relaxation of the islands, and steel drum music lures you in.Sebastian’s Bistro is located to the right of the Fuentes del Morro Pool area. I was lucky to secure same night reservations - which is atypical. Advanced dining reservations are highly recommended, and open for guests 180 days prior to their vacation start date. I was dining with my mom and aunt, and the smaller party size made same-day reservations easier to secure than it would be with a larger party. Our bus ran late so when we arrived we checked in and after a few minutes they found us a table.f-26-15-12650778_gWSysiUy_IMG_2978Our server, Rob, promptly came over, went over the specials, offered us drinks and filled our water glasses. The atmosphere is seaside elegance. It is very family friendly, but also quite calm. We began our meal with the Caribbean Pull Apart Rolls with a choice of Guava Butter, Mango Chutney, and Jamaican Jerk Oil. We placed our orders and were easily able to make changes and substitutions to the menu to get the dishes that we wanted. I had the sustainable fish(a white flaky MahiMahi ) and changed the smashed plantains for the Lime Cilantro Rice (absolutely delicious) and black beans.f-26-19-12650778_GdpTck3T_IMG_2981My Aunt had the tropical fruit appetizer and the appetizer order of Conch Fritters.f-26-20-12650778_v7KPR5Le_IMG_2985 My Mom choose the appetizer crab cakes and the appetizer Conch Fitters. All of our food was prepared and brought out quickly. We all sampled each others dishes and they were all incredibly excellent. Each bite of dinner was a magnificent marvel for your mouth. We were so full by the end of the main course we could not possibly eat another bite. I will have try desert another time.   I already have another reservation here for our next trip.   The food was wonderful, pricing was reasonable (and we used our Annual Passholder Discount), service was excellent and the atmosphere was so relaxing!   Sebastian’s Bistro is a wonderful addition to Caribbean Beach and one not to be missed!
