Aventura Hotel at Universal Studios Orlando

I had the privilege of staying at the Aventura Hotel at Universal Studios Orlando this summer. It was a wonderful experience overall. The lobby had a modern and sleek atmosphere with a variety of restaurants for everyone’s tastes. We arrived early with our room not yet available, however, that was not a problem. We were able to check-in and have our luggage stored so we could begin our vacation right away. Once our room was cleaned, I received a text giving our room number and location. A cool feature had to have been the robot that will run errands throughout the hotel. Forgot your toothbrush? Don’t worry, the Relay the Robot will bring you one directly to your room.

As previously stated, there were multiple dining options to choose from. There is a Starbucks for those that need a caffeine fix, as well as stations for pizza, Asian cuisine, and ice cream. These stations were open morning, afternoon, and evening for your main meals along with any snacking throughout the day. We enjoyed all of the options including a delicious Asian Station Wok Bowl, a pizza we brought back to our room, and creamy ice cream we enjoyed on more than one occasion. The dining area is spacious with a plethora of seating inside and outside.

A huge perk of staying at Aventura Hotel is its proximity to Universal’s water park, Volcano Bay. There is a walking path that leads from the back of the hotel directly to the entrance of the water park. It is only a 5-10 minute walk, making it faster than regular bus transportation. To say we had an amazing view would be an understatement. Our room faced the iconic volcano that is the focal point of the water park. The two theme park are only a quick bus ride away on the free transportation offered when you are staying at an Universal Resort on-site hotel.

Overall, I would rate this value hotel as excellent. I stayed at a discounted TA rate, but even at full price, it is a very affordable option for families or couples. I am happy I decided to try Aventura Hotel as I feel like this will be my go-to hotel from now on.
