Holidays at Walt Disney World are one of the most magical times of the year, featuring the truly festive Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, being held at Magic Kingdom on select nights in November and December. This ticketed event allows guests to enjoy the most festive of holiday activities, with unique character meet and greets, and extra time to enjoy the park attractions. One of the highlights of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) is “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.” This parade is full of beloved Disney characters in their best holiday attire, as well as holiday favorites we have come to love, such as toy soldiers, holiday carolers, and gingerbread men. The parade concludes with the long-awaited guest of honor, Santa Claus, arriving in his sleigh preceded by his reindeer. It certainly is an exciting moment for families, setting the holiday mood!f-26-14-12328871_ahWanMzx_2014-11-10_20.18.37At MVMCP you have the opportunity to meet some unique characters that are not available outside of the party. Some popular characters of past parties include Judy Hopps, Moana, and the Seven Dwarfs. Also, you may have the chance to meet some princes along with their princesses. Around the park are complimentary snack stations with different types of Christmas cookies and holiday beverages. There is also special merchandise available for purchase to commemorate the special event. Most rides and attractions are still available during the party and often times offer much less of a wait than you would experience during the day. Also, during the party, live holiday entertainment can be found throughout the park. “A Frozen Holiday Wish” castle show; “Mickey’s Most-Merriest Celebration” stage show; and “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas Show” featuring Buzz Lightyear and Stitch are some of our family favorites.f-26-19-12328871_PqK0SOjn_DSC00640_2And finally, one of our favorite experiences at MVMCP is watching it snow down Main Street U.S.A. Seeing snowflakes fall in central Florida is a unique experience that excites both children and adults alike. We always take a few minutes to stop in front of the Emporium or Christmas Tree and take in the scene. It is truly the epitome of Disney Magic. An evening at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a special way to celebrate the holiday season! Tickets are on sale for 2018 and can sell-out.
