CHEERS: CELEBRATING OUR 20 MILLIONTH BUTTERBEER SOLD
In 2010, our guests took their first sips of Butterbeer when The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade opened at Universal Orlando Resort. Today, eight years later, I am excited to share that we have officially sold our 20 millionth Butterbeer in Orlando!
Creating Butterbeer was truly a labor of love. Our culinary team worked tirelessly to ensure that Butterbeer was completely authentic to the Wizarding World. It has quickly grown into a “rite-of-passage” for all witches, wizards and Muggles who visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.Seeing the popularity and success of this beverage has been an amazing experience. But the real magic starts when we see the reaction on our guests’ faces when they try Butterbeer for the first (or 20 millionth) time. When our guests don their frothy mustache and a smile, it’s truly the sweetest treat.
And throughout the years, we’ve created additional delicious treats celebrating the beloved Butterbeer flavor. Along with our original cold and frozen varieties, there’s also Butterbeer soft-served ice cream, fudge, potted cream and the seasonal Hot Butterbeer.Any way you want it, Butterbeer is the perfect treat for wizards, witches and Muggles alike. But you don’t have to take my word for it. I was celebrating my 27th birthday & my first Wizarding World visit during a Universal Orlando vacation. “Stepping out of Three Broomsticks with Hot Butterbeers on a rare chilly day around Christmas with my family and friends.
