Missy RyanFebruary 2, 2017f-26-15-9796836_HCoXd8Qx_BC4Staying club level at Beach Club Resort at Walt Disney World is a fun splurge.  During a recent trip my family and I were lucky enough to take advantage of the unique experience of Stone Harbor Club Level at the Beach Club Resort. We were delighted from beginning to end. When staying on Club Level, it is important that you always have your magic band on. When you are on the elevator you must tap your band to the area that states “Stone Harbor.” This indicates that you are a club member guest and will take you to that floor. Without your band you will not be transported to the fifth floor. I have to admit, I sure did love tapping my band each time I got on the elevator. It was exciting to know we were going to the “special floor.” My children were equally excited and would take turns as to who got the special honor.Once arriving to the fifth floor you will notice 2 tables as you turn the corner. In this area you will find concierges who are primarily for club level guests. They are there to provide added help when needed and answer any questions you may have, while saving you several trips to the front desk along with speaking to someone face to face rather than by phone. On each side of the desks you will also notice doors. One door directly leads you to the food area of the club level, while the other door brings you to one of the lounge areas. Our room had two queen beds, a sofa that pulled out into a twin bed, a desk with a chair, small table (which is hidden under the desk), a dresser, a mini fridge, TV and DVD player. Outside we had a small balcony that was big enough for about 2 people to stand on.  Our room also had a wonderful view of Epcot’s Spaceship Earth.  We really enjoyed waking up and seeing that each morning. The room also had bathrobes for use during your stay. The bathroom is fairly standard with a room containing the toilet and shower and double sink outside.StoneHarbor-Food2By far, the highlight and our favorite part of club level is the “free” food and drink area in Stone Harbor Club. Here are some examples of what was offered;Breakfast (7am-10:30 am): Continental Breakfast. There are cereals, bagels, cream cheese, pastries, donuts, mini muffins, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, tea, coffee and juice.Snacks (11:30am-4:00 pm): Little things to snack on such as cookies, potato chips, trail mix, gummy fish, bread sticks and dip, yogurt covered pretzels, Stormalong Bay Breeze punch, coffee, tea and water are provided.StoneHarbor-food1Hors d’oeuvres and Wine (5 PM- 7PM): This was our favorite offering of the day! There are typically two hot offerings either from or inspired by the Yacht and Beach Club. While we were there we had chicken skewers, spring rolls, mozzarella and tomato salad, quinoa salad, seared tuna and other wonderful and tasty side dishes. There are also veggies and dip, and caramel for apple slices, cheese and crackers, peanut butter and jelly cups so you can make sandwiches for little ones, olives and rolls. There is also wine and beer available in addition to non-alcoholic beverages.Desserts and Cordials (8PM-10PM): My children absolutely loved coming back from the parks and getting one more snack as they ended their evening. I have to admit that I enjoyed it as well. I usually would not encourage snacks this late for my kids, but this was a fun exception.  The desserts include a selection of cakes, brownies, strawberry cheesecake and peanut butter mousse. The Cordials include Amarula and Grand Marnier. After grabbing our last sweet snack of the night we would always head back to our room eager to see that our turn down service was done. Something about it made us so giddy.f-26-14-9796836_c7gwKU62_BC2Turn Down service is another benefit of Club Level.  Each evening housekeeping will pull the covers to the beds down, fluff the pillows, close the blinds to the room and leave chocolates on the bed. Of course we loved the chocolate treat and my children thought this was awesome. Secretly, I did too.Overall, Club Level was an amazing experience. We truly enjoyed the food, snacks and drinks. We loved the areas to sit and relax, especially the kid area that had small tables, chairs and a flat screen that always had Disney shows playing.  The small added touches and a feeling of importance was such a special part of the trip. My children were so happy during every experience, every treat and the special atmosphere.I enjoyed the choices, the conveniences and memories created. If you would like to know more about the wonderful Beach Club Resort or any other resort in WDW, please email me at missyr@wishesfamilytravel.comYou can also follow me on FacebookPlease enjoy my pictures of the fabulous club level!
