Disney with a Side of Caffeine

I do believe most Disney vacations are powered by magic and pixie dust, but it would be neglectful of me to not think that coffee plays a strong role in how much I can accomplish in a day. None of my trips to any Disney location are complete without some of my favorite coffees. These are not just my favorite Disney coffees, but some of my favorite coffees overall.

Coffee 1: Cold Brew Black Caf

This delicious Cold Brew can be found in Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland, California. It’s a Joffrey’s Cold Brew topped with sweet cream cheese and chocolate puffs. It is also sold in Disney World, but people who’ve had both say it is significantly better in California. Once I tried it, I mobile ordered one every day. It is THAT addicting!

Coffee 2: Chimney Sweep Cold Brew

This was one of the most unique coffees I have ever tasted. I was drawn to it because it was Mary Poppins themed and sold in the Jolly Holiday Café in Disneyland, which is my favorite Quick Service location. The description is as stated: “Cold brew coffee with hickory-smoked syrup, chocolate and caramel sauces, cream, and smoked salt-sugar sprinkle.” The people in my group either loved or hated this coffee. I, for one, definitely loved this drink and the smoky flavor.

Coffee 3: The Original Peanut Butter Cold Brew

By far my favorite iced coffee on the Disney property in Florida. It is worth the Gideon’s Bakehouse extensive wait or virtual queue to get a cup of this coffee! It tastes just like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.

Tip: Go early in the morning around 10:00 am when they open for a shorter wait in line!

Coffee 4: Character Lattes on the Disney Cruise Line

Your standard coffee and teas are included in your cruise fare when sailing with Disney, but if you want to treat yourself to a specialty coffee, you can order one of these adorable Character Lattes on the ship! My favorite place to grab these cute character lattes on Disney Dream and Disney Magic would be Cove Café. If on board Disney Wish, the two places I recommend is the Wishing Star Café or Enchanted Sword Café where you can also get a chai with a character.

Coffee 5: Face Coffee Joffrey’s

Disney characters on a coffee are cute, but of course Disney takes it one step further. At the Joffrey’s storefront in Disney Springs, you can upload a photo from your phone on the Joffrey’s app and have it appear on a coffee. I love uploading pictures of dogs when I order my lattes and having them appear on my drinks.

Coffee 6: Café Glacé

I recently discovered this drink in Epcot, and I’ve had it on every Disney trip since. The Café Glacé with Cinnamon Caramelized Pecan Ice Cream is delicious and a perfect pick-me-up on a hot Florida afternoon. Who doesn’t love fresh iced coffee with a scoop of sweet ice cream? This drink can be found at the L’Artisan des Glaces in the back of the France pavilion.

Coffee 6: Iced Coffee Joffrey’s

Sometimes I go back to the basics and grab an easily accessible ice coffee from a Joffrey’s stand when I am in Disney World. My favorite is the Shaken Jamaican Cold Brew with Irish Cream.

When I plan my clients’ trips, I try to learn what each individual client is interested in whether that is a destination, excursion, meal, character, or something as important to people as where they will get their coffee each day!
