Want to visit 11 countries in one day? You can when you visit Epcot at Walt Disney World. World Showcase is a landscape of nations featuring architecture, entertainment and cultural experiences. Starting clockwise you will find Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, America, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom, Canada and in 2022 Walt Disney World will be adding Brazil to their list of countries.

If you’re looking for a unique experience, I encourage you to walk through all of the countries. What I love about walking World Showcase is that the Cast Members in each country are from that country. They are knowledgeable about their culture and love sharing their traditions with guests. You will find merchandise from the featured countries, which is a refreshing change. From clothing and candy to perfume, housewares and cuckoo clocks there is no end to what you can find.

Another great feature of World Showcase are the countless dining options. They cannot be missed! If you’re looking for table service options about every country offers one. Personally, I love Teppan Edo in Japan and La Hacienda de San Angel in Mexico. Each table service restaurant features cuisine from their country. Other great dining options include quick service locations, like Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Beers & Barbecue in The American Adventure, Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the United Kingdom and Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in France.

Looking for characters? You will find plenty. Many of them can be found in the countries that influenced their stories.

Mulan - China
Snow White - Germany
Aladdin & Jasmine - Morocco
Aurora & Belle - France
Alice - United Kingdom
Donald Duck - Mexico
Elsa & Anna - Norway

Epcot holds four festivals annually at different times throughout the year. Whichever festival you choose to experience you will find food and beverage options, merchandise, scavenger hunts and other special events specifically created for each festival.

-Epcot International Festival of The Arts, January 8th to February 22nd, 2021
-Epcot International Flower & Garden Show, March 3rd to July 5th, 2021
-Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, July 15th to November 20th, 2021
-Epcot International Festival of The Holidays, November 26th to December 30, 2021

Not only will you find delicious food, cultural experiences and seasonal festivals in World Showcase, there are also some can’t miss attractions that you will want to experience!

Mexico - Grand Fiesta Tour
You will go on a journey with the Three Caballeros who are searching for Donald Duck.

Norway - Frozen Ever After
If you love the Frozen movies, you must experience this attraction.

France - Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Join Remy and his friends on an adventure through Gusteau’s restaurant.

Canada - Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360
Get ready for a breathtaking look at the Great White North.

New to the many entertainment offerings at Epcot is Harmonious. A nighttime experience where guests discover how Disney music and stories have the power to bring people together. The new show brings giant floating screens, moving fountains, lights, lasers, pyrotechnics in a 360-degree view. If you’re looking for the best seat in the house, I recommend lakeside along the verandah next to La Hacienda de San Angel in Mexico.

My family and I make it a habit to walk World Showcase on every vacation. We discover something new every time!
