LET'S TALK SANDALS BUTLER SERVICE! Is It Worth It?

Recently, my husband and I stayed at Sandals Regency La Toc in St Lucia. During our stay, I had the privilege of experiencing butler service for the first time. Let me just say, I CAN NEVER GO BACK. Butler-level rooms are not only some of the most beautiful rooms at the resorts, with their own designated lounge and priority check-in, but the butler service is unparalleled. Butlers are always on call most hours of the day and can be reached by the phone provided to you upon check-in.
Our butlers, Dez, James, and Levi were AMAZING and spoiled us all week!
Our butlers:
Had our room stocked with our favorite drinks, mixers, waters, snacks, and even bubbly upon our arrival.
Reserved us the best chairs by the pool or beach each day, as we requested.
Filled a cooler of our favorite beverages and delivered it to our chairs prior to our arrival.
Stopped by with fresh drinks, snacks, and cool towels throughout the day.
Before we returned to get cleaned up for dinner, they had different snacks left in our room each day including a charcuterie board, fresh fruit and veggies, fresh seafood, and even a build-your-own nacho platter. (Yes, they knew the way to my heart.)
They drove us around the resort grounds in a golf cart, so we didn't have to tackle the hills on foot.
Showed up with umbrellas so we never had to walk in the rain.
Arranged spa reservations and onsite activities.
Reserved us dining reservations at the restaurants at the resort and the sister resorts and arranged transfers to and from.
Provided beautiful turndown service in our room each day and even left some romantic surprises!
Butler service is truly the way to go if you want to fully relax and not have to worry about anything. Honestly, I wasn't quite sure how I would feel about butler service. I questioned if it would be awkward or how often we would utilize the service as we are typically pretty independent. But in the end, it was amazing. Our butlers were there when we needed them, but also provided space and privacy. They would think of things we hadn't thought of and spoiled us in ways we never would have thought to ask. Butler service is certainly a resort booking upgrade., Not having a butler will not diminish the quality of a Sandals vacation, but it certainly elevates it to the next level! We cannot wait for our next Sandals vacation and are excited to meet our butlers on future trips!
