Lunch at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

I have been to Walt Disney World countless times, but I have somehow missed this little gem. Last week, my daughter and I took a quick trip to see how things were going since the reopening. We both love Italian food so decided to give Via Napoli a try. From the ambiance to the food, everything was fabulous!
Via Napoli is located in the Italy Pavilion of the World Showcase in Epcot. There are so many delicious options for food in Epcot, this restaurant slipped through the cracks somehow. The Italy Pavilion is so beautiful. You could be sitting at a little cafe in actual Italy and not know the difference. The landscaping is breathtaking and really adds to the Italian feel. Epcot is fantastic at immersing us into the culture of each country. We definitely didn't feel like we were in Orlando, Florida.
Reservations are required, so we walked straight in and were seated immediately. The aroma made my mouth water immediately. Our waitress was from Italy and did a wonderful job explaining the menu items. Their main focus is on pizza and there were so many different flavors to choose from. Since my teenager and I rarely agree on food, we each ordered our own individual pizza. She got cheese and I got spicy italian sausage and pepperoni. They were both delicious and way too much food for us to eat alone. The crust is thin with a ton of gooey cheese and meats melted on top. They cook their pizzas in a wood fire oven, so the service was quick and the food was out of this world. It's amazing how different an oven pizza tastes compared to an open wood fire. If you have never experienced this cooking method, you are missing out.
The total cost of our two individual pizzas and two sodas was around $60. I know that seems a little pricey for pizza, but it was well worth it for Disney. The left-overs meant it was essentially two meals. That creates a more economical perspective.
I would highly recommend Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria for anyone looking to please everyone in their party, regardless of age. I believe that this pizza will make everybody happy. If you are looking for a nice, quiet atmosphere and wonderful customer service, then give it a try on your next trip to Epcot. You won't be disappointed!
