Maggie Ballantyne, Concierge Agent

maggieAnyone who knows Maggie can tell you that her two favorite things since day 1 have been traveling and Disney. After graduating from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with her B.A. in Public Relations and minor in Communication and Rhetorical studies, Maggie moved to Florida to be a Disney Cast Member. She says that each day she learned something new about herself, the Disney Company, and about making magic for her guests! As a Cast Member, Maggie also earned her Mousters Degrees from Disney University in both Marketing & Sales and Cast Engagement & Human Resources. She is recently trained in booking Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Lines, Adventures By Disney, and Aulani- A Disney Resort and Spa vacations. Maggie is also Disney Annual Passholder. Her enthusiasm for traveling and passion for helping others are what drive Maggie to build and organize unique travel experiences catered to each of her clients.Maggie’s personal travel experience includes 10+ trips to Walt Disney World, a trip to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure, and there is a Disney cruise in the works. On each trip, Maggie’s personal goal is to make arrangements to see something new whether that be a resort, dining experience, tour, or event. Some of her favorites include Epcot’s Festival of the Arts, Flower and Garden Festival, Food and Wine Festival, and the International Festival of the Holidays. She also loves Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Maggie has traveled down to Florida for the Princess Half Marathon weekend where she did the Princess 5K with some of her best friends. This is a new tradition and they will be going again!Outside of Disney, Maggie has traveled to Europe 3 times and will be going to South Africa in the Fall of 2018. She is a firm believer in weekend road trips and often chooses her destination based on cities with different ballparks or street festivals. Maggie is also trained to book trips to Seaworld, Universal Studios, Discovery Cove, and Busch Gardens…. All of which are some of her favorite places!Maggie currently lives in Frederick, Maryland. If she could be any Disney character she would be Mary Poppins because, just like Mary, Maggie believes that “In every job that must be done there is an element of fun.”  Maggie looks forward to getting to know each client, designing a vacation that will create lifelong memories, and inserting a little Disney magic along the way.
