Minnie's (Super fun!) Seasonal Dine at Hollywood & Vine

I love all things Halloween at Walt Disney World. I also love great food, great costumes, and who doesn’t love characters in seasonal outfits?! Put them all together and you have a great experience in the making.

This Fall I was able to visit Walt Disney World and experience “all the things.” I was thrilled to find out that Hollywood & Vine would be available to book during the dates I was traveling as part of their phased opening.

This meal is one of the several versions of “Minnie’s Seasonal Dine.”

There have been a few changes made to the meal as far as the menu, character interaction, and other various details.

Upon entering the restaurant, you no longer start off with a photo op with a character.

In lieu of a buffet, there is now a menu with listed food options.

Overall, I would have to honestly say that this experience met every expectation I had hoped for.

Characters came through the dining room every few minutes and took time to stop at a safe distance at each table. While they visited, they danced, posed for pictures, and interacted on so many fun levels.  We asked for Mickey to swing back through and dance again for our table. We were overjoyed with the fun, laughter, and joy each character brought to the guests.

Characters that you may see include Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto. Please keep in mind that characters are subject to change.

The menu options were all new and a nice selection. I ordered the Shrimp Macaroni and Cheese. To my surprise, I enjoyed every single bite! It was delicious, and a generous portion.

For dessert I indulged in Banana cream pie. I must admit that I did enjoy the menu selection more than I have the buffet option. I also love being seated during a character meal and not feeling rushed if I want to get up for seconds. Even though we were not waiting for autographs, I have to say, the modifications made were fantastic.

The costumes were still exciting and fun, the decorated lobby upon entering was fun, cheerful, and inviting. Throughout the meal you felt entertained and involved.

Tables were placed 6 feet apart with an empty table in between as well.

In the past Hollywood & Vine Seasonal Dine has been a favorite of mine so it was natural to feel unsure how this experience would rate with the current changes.

I wholeheartedly feel that it continues to be at the top of my list. I am excited and looking forward to returning to experience the Christmas Season!
