Mobile Ordering in 4 Easy Steps

Christina Szewczuk6.14.20Have you ever arrived at your favorite Walt Disney World Quick Serve spot but the line is insufferably long for the level of hunger you are experiencing? Me too… So whip out that smart phone and take advantage of the Mobile Ordering feature in the My Disney Experience App! Here’s how…

  • Open My Disney Experience AppFirst, you’ll have to have the My Disney Experience app. Definitely download this app before you go to Walt Disney World if you don’t already have this on your phone. It is a Disney Park Touring “essential item”.
  • Choose Your RestaurantGo to the 3 little lines in the bottom right corner. This will take you to the main menu where you will see an option called “Mobile Food Orders.” Click there and then click “Create New Order” or click the little blue plus sign in the top right corner. This will prompt you to choose a restaurant. You will be able to see all available Quick Service Restaurants providing the mobile ordering feature sorted by park or resort. Choose which one you want.
  • Order Foodf-26-14-13698958_X2veRyLb_DiningBlog-click_hereOnce you’ve chosen a restaurant to order from, a screen will come up with the restaurant info on it. The hours will be listed and above that you’ll see options to find on map, get directions or order food. Once you click “Order Food.” You can scroll through the menu and build your order. Add items to the cart and then click “View My Order” at the bottom when you’re done. If you make a mistake there is an option to modify your order. If the order is correct, click “Review Order Summary”. Then pay for your order with whichever payment method you’d like.   • Pick Up Food and Enjoy!Head over to your restaurant and click the “I’m Here, Prepare My Order” button in the app. They will notify you when your order is ready and you can go pick up your order at the Mobile Pickup Window. If you have a smart watch with notifications enabled, it’ll even pop up on your watch!

It has always been the quicker option. I tried an experiment with friends where the line was not very long, maybe 3-4 people deep. They stood in the line and another friend and I did Mobile Order. Ours was done before they even got to place their orders! Recently, I used it at Woody’s Lunchbox too. It was very crowded and I found a seat! So I ordered from my seat and, again, had my meal before most of the people, who would have been in front of me, had even ordered. I could go on – I have many examples… It’s like having a Fastpass for food!
