Parked Permanently at Sandals: 2 Food Trucks!

I am grateful these food trucks are not on the go, and instead parked permanently on the Sandals Royal Bahamian property! These two food trucks add a new form of dining to this resort’s already impressive list of dining establishments and elevate the culinary experience of the vacation. Sandals resorts are known for being truly all-inclusive (no extra charges for specialty dining or menu items like steak or lobster). When visiting this resort in July 2024, I was excited to try the two food trucks included in the vacation package as well. Only a few Sandals and Beaches properties have food trucks and these two are unique to this property.

Sweets ‘n’ Tings is the bright and cherry pink truck that will catch your eye as soon as you arrive. This truck serves specialty iced coffees, teas and pastries in the morning. These continue to be available all day. As the day goes on, you can also order specialty and mini desserts, specialty or made-to-order crepes, and scoops of ice cream. There was a great variety, and I visited this spot multiple times each day. One of my favorite parts of each day was waking up, grabbing an iced caramel coffee, and taking a walk on the beach while everything was quiet.

Coco Queen is the fun teal truck parked right next to Sweets ‘n’ Tings. This food truck offers traditional (and delicious) seafood options. We sampled the fish tacos, conch fritters, and Bahamian Mac and Cheese. Everything was good, but the conch fritters were our favorite and a standout of the trip. One day we sat down at tables nearby and ate lunch by the food truck. Another day, we ordered conch fritters to go and brough them to our room.

There is seating between the food trucks, or you can take your orders back to the pool, beach, your room, or enjoy them right there! At nighttime, they turn on twinkling lights to add to the atmosphere and pass around desserts for you to sample as well. I recommend grabbing some sweets and then watching a show. Lots of the nighttime entertainment was not far from the food trucks and provided a great view.

I look forward to visiting this resort again and grabbing some of my favorites from these trucks. My clients traveling to this Sandals property will receive additional information based on my personal experience to help maximize their time too!
