Top Places to Visit in Green Bay, Wisconsin

Welcome to Green Bay, home of the Green Bay Packers and Lambeau Field! If you’re familiar with Wisconsin lingo it may be “Welcome to Titletown, home of the Frozen Tundra”!  While Green Bay may be known as home of the Green Bay Packers and the location of the 2025 NFL Draft, Green Bay and the surrounding area has a lot to offer vacationers looking for a wonderful hometown vacation.

1.       A day or night at Lambeau Field is always an amazing time. The excitement starts before the game in the bars, restaurants, and Lambeau Field parking lot. Within the tailgating crowd, you will find yard games, polka bands, marching bands, and some incredible grilling smells! I don’t know if there is anything quite like the camaraderie felt while watching a Green Bay Packer game at Lambeau Field.

2.       The Packer Hall of Fame and the Packer Pro Shop are both found within the stadium in the Lambeau Field Atrium. The Packer Hall of Fame is open year-round except for game days and holidays. You can pair your visit to the Packer Hall of Fame with a Lambeau Field Stadium Tour. It’s a beautiful stadium and definitely something to see! There are a variety of tour options and price points to choose from. One tour even includes a Green Bay Packer Alumni as your tour guide!  Don’t miss out on visiting the Packer Pro Shop or the huge Lombardi trophy! Pro Tip- visit the pro shop during non- game days. Even though the pro shop is very large and spacious, it doesn’t feel that way when you are fighting game day crowds. Check out the incredible statues in front of the pro shop. More can be found in the downtown Green Bay area.

3.       There are a variety of breweries in Green Bay that make for a fun day or night out! Some of them are found within walking distance of Lambeau Field. Hinterland Brewery is right across the street from Lambeau and part of the Titletown district. Also near the stadium is the Badger State Brewing Company. The Badger State Brewing Company features an award-winning tap room, real grass beer garden, and their own production facility. Other breweries in the area include Titletown Brewing Company and Copper State Brewing Company.

 4.       One of my favorite restaurants to visit in the stadium area is the Green Bay Distillery. I love the food and find it very reasonably priced. A great option to visit if you are in the Lambeau Field/Resch Center area. Lots of different dinner choices including appetizers, pizza, sandwiches, and craft burgers. The last time I was there I had the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger, and it was fantastic! Be sure to check out their specialty cocktail and martini menu!   If you are visiting Green Bay on a Friday, you need to try a fish fry! I recommend Aldo’s for one of their awesome dinners.

5.       A fun experience for you and your friends and family over the age of 21, is a Green Bay tour onboard the Foxy Pedaler. The Foxy Pedaler is a 14-person, pedal powered bar! Each 2-hour tour can be booked as a group or by individual seats. You choose to 2 or 3 stops along an approved route area to visit. What a fun way to experience the Green Bay downtown area!

6.       Titletown is a new community development right across the street from Lambeau Field. A beautiful, large outdoor space with games and tons of seating. For adults, outdoor games include shuffle board, bocce ball, and bag toss.  A definite highlight of Titletown is the brand new playground and child’s football field along with areas that contain a large sledding area and outdoor skating rink in the winter. This space features many community activities and events throughout the year.  My personal favorite is the Titletown Night Market. This event takes place on Thursdays from June to the end of August. Many different vendors, including some delicious food vendor options, fill the Titletown Area. I loved the mellow vibe of this event! Lots of people just enjoying the vendors, live music, and outdoor games- all with Lambeau Field in the background. If you are looking for more of a farmers’ market with beautiful flowers and many vegetable options, I recommend the Farmers Market on Broadway on Wednesdays or Saturday mornings. The farmers market on Wednesday nights can be very busy and does not have the same laid-back feel as the Titletown market.

7.       Are you looking for an activity for the whole family? Does your family enjoy fair rides? You definitely need to visit Bay Beach Amusement Park! Bay Beach is a small, family-friendly amusement park with free admission. You buy tickets for a quarter a piece, each ride takes tickets with the range being 1 ticket for kiddie rides and up to 6 tickets for larger rides like the  Zippin Pippin rollercoaster. The Zippin Pippin is said to have been Elvis Presley’s favorite rollercoaster! There is also a brand-new inclusive playground on site. Bay Beach Amusement Park is a seasonal destination; it is typically only open from May until September.  Across the road from Bay Beach Amusement Park is the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary (open year-round). Don’t miss out on this free experience seeing many native Wisconsin animals along with an awesome array of birds of prey!

8.       If you are coming into Green Bay during the winter holiday season, be sure to visit the WPS Garden of Lights at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens. Enjoy the beautiful light displays, Christmas music, and hot cocoa with a walking tour or a horse-drawn wagon ride.  The National Train Museum and the Brown County Fairgrounds also host very popular Christmas light displays. Both locations are found not far from Lambeau Field.
