Let’s face it, Florida is hot! Disney World, despite being the happiest place on Earth, is no exception to the cruel grasps of mother nature. Unless, of course, you know where to look to ensure you’re staying hydrated!Dole Whip, while perhaps not the healthiest option there is to avoid heat stroke, certainly is one of the tastiest refreshment Disney World has to offer. It’s a delicious pineapple soft-serve that’s offered with many variations!Dole whip is only available in select locations across the parks. Disney’s Polynesian resort offers two locations for the tasty treat: Captain Cook’s, with a self-serve Dole Whip station, and Pineapple Lanai, right outside of the Great Ceremonial House. There are also various counter service locations scattered across the parks where Dole Whip is served! Aloha Isle inside of Disney World’s Magic Kingdom serves Dole Whip if you’re searching for a good way to beat the heat. Recently, they’ve even added a pineapple upside-down cake with Dole Whip on top. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area!If you’re looking for a more grown-up version of your favorite pineapple dessert, you’re in the wrong place. As alcohol is only served inside of select restaurants within the Magic Kingdom, you’ll have to look elsewhere for the ever-so-alluring Dole Whip with rum. Tamu-Tamu refreshments in Animal Kingdom offers boozy Dole Whips year-round, while Pineapple Promenade in Epcot only offers the refreshment during the International Flower and Garden Festival. So anyway you slice it, if pineapple is a favorite you should put this on your list to try!
