Wolfgang Puck Express - A Great Quick-Service Alternative

Rebecca JonesimageJuly 7, 2016Each time we visit the Walt Disney World Resort, I always like to spend time at Disney Springs for a day of shopping, entertainment, and relaxation. A highlight of our day is having lunch at Wolfgang Puck Express, an upscale quick-service location, located in the Marketplace, near the Once Upton A Toy shop.Upon entry, you’ll see the menu’s more sophisticated options, such as a Whole Wheat Hummus Wrap and Oven Roasted Salmon. My family stuck with our favorites, though – sandwiches, pizza, and pasta. The Rotisserie Turkey Club, Margherita Pizza, Ravioli, and Chicken Alfredo (minus the chicken for my younger daughter) were our choices for the day. Because this is a quick-service location, and we were on the dining plan, my kids were able to order from the adult menu for their choices, without it being extra dining credits. After ordering, we took a number and went to our table, where our server (yes, a server at quick-service!), greeted us and let us know to help ourselves to our drinks. She brought our silverware to the table and our food, when it was ready. Oh the food! It was absolutely delicious, and the portions were substantial. In our family, we often eat part of our meal, then trade with someone else, so we can sample more dishes in the same meal. I personally tried the Margherita Pizza and the Rotisserie Turkey Club. The pizza was very good, with a wood-fired crust, but it was so big, the taste got a little boring after a while. I traded for my husband’s sandwich, which was good, but the stand-out on that plate, for me, was the house-made chips. They were so crispy, with just the right seasoning. If I could have purchased a bag to take home, I would have.
