The Leaky Cauldron

Lisa Perna2.22.19The Leaky Cauldron is a quick service restaurant in Universal Orlando where you can stop in for a meal or for a butter beer. The atmosphere of the restaurant feels like a larger version of a pub. There are long tables and plenty of seating for everyone. Once you place your order, a hostess will seat you at your table.The menu has many options for both food and beverages. The Leaky Cauldron serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In the morning they have everything from a traditional English breakfast to an American breakfast. Lunch mainly consists of English items. There are also many fun and unique drinks from the World of Harry Potter.We had the Fish & Chips which consisted of fresh North Atlantic Cod that was battered and fried. On the side were fries and tartar sauce. The Fish & Chips did not disappoint! The fish was fresh and fell apart very easily. It was delicious. To quench our thirst, we got a Butter beer, a Pumpkin Juice, and a Tongue-Tying Lemon Squash. Out of all the different drinks we tried, my favorite was the Butter Beer. To me it tastes similar to a cream soda. The Pumpkin juice is good, if you are a lover of all things pumpkin. My daughter’s favorite was the Tongue-Tying Lemon Squash. This was similar to lemonade.Before leaving, make sure to get a picture by the huge black cauldron.This restaurant is a fun stop. It’s a nice place to take a break from the heat and crowds.Please note that I was not paid, given a discount, or a free meal for the review of this restaurant.
